(September 18, 2024) The National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) is pleased to announce the NIH Quantum Biomedical Innovations and Technologies (Qu-BIT) program. The goal of Qu-BIT is to further the application of innovative novel quantum-enabled sensing technologies and quantum computing approaches for various biomedical and translational use cases. The resulting developments are envisioned to provide great improvements to existing technologies and catapult biomedical research forward into a new era.
